APARTMENT PICTURES


So I took some pictures of the apartment now that we have furniture of it...  all we need is a tv in there and the trim done so we can put real blinds up, it is going to be a great escape or guest house!!!  I love it....

Eventually we will get kitchen cabinets in our kitchen....  

CRAIGSLIST


I love craigslist...  About two weeks ago, we needed to get rid of one of the truck shells that has been setting in the back yard for ...  maybe two or three years!  So we washed it up and posted it on craigslist for $100.00....   These are the pictures that I posted with the ad.

So the first day I didn't hear anything and I was thinking that maybe I did something wrong...  but the second say I started to get e-mails inquiring on the shell and by that afternoon I had a guy drive out here from Asheville North Carolina and bought it!!!  He was so happy and so were we.


So I was thinking...  that worked really well so lets try it again....  So this morning I went out and took some pictures of a bbq that we were going to put out for the trash guys next week and lets see what happens....


So I posted FREE BBQ  The first one here gets it!!  ....  Here are the pictures I took:

And I will be darn if within 15 minutes the bbq was gone!  I also had another guy show up 5 minutes later and was sad it was gone.  I also had 2 e-mails saying that they wanted it....  but it is gone!  That was really fun!!  Can't wait to do it again!!

BOY IS IT QUIET AROUND HERE!!


Well Jeff and Lindsay left last night for their month long vacation then they will end up in Idaho...  =(
Sure going to miss them.  On the up side...  we now have an apartment for visitors!!  I have been over cleaning and setting up for company!!  Our first guest will be Sam and Krysten on Friday!!  Hurray for company!!  Maybe it will take my mind off Caleb... Josh... Sarah...  and Tyler...  This Grandma is going to miss them a lot...  =(

Here is the kitchen area..  and someday we will get the cabinets put in then it will look great!

As you can tell from the pick... we now need to trim up this place...  Jeff was going to try to do it but the time just slipped away, so we will get it done and also will give dad a little project to do around the house.

Also on a good note....  I have an extra refrigerator again...  How I have missed that!


We are leaving on Saturday to head up to Scott's for a week...  that will be fun, just wish Buka and Tsomo were going to be there also.  Maybe this will be a good visit with just Scott and maybe we might be able to soften his heart with the church just a bit.  =)  I will take pics..


Big news also, we got a pool.  Not a big one but will be great for cooling down on one of those hot days.
The kids tried it out last night and they had a blast in it.  =)  I love that it is on the patio so I can even sneak out into it and feel ok about it!  

Summer is going to be great this year, I can tell!!!!  =D

SAD DAY TODAY....

Was a sad day today...  we had to take mother and father goose to the pond...  It was so sad as they kept trying to follow us back to the truck.  =(.....

I tried to get them to go to the pond but they kept going into the brush and under the trees.  I sure hope they will be ok!!!  It was so sad.....

I Finally Caught It On Camera!!
So a while back I tried to get a picture of Kitty and Pearl in each others beds...  I finally got it!!  I told Pearl to go to her bed and she took to long and Kitty quickly got into her bed...  Notice how Kitty is all stretched out....  I told Pearl to get into her bed so she, very sadly, got into Kitty's bed.

Kitty was out sun bathing and enjoying the outdoors....

I told Kitty to smile and this is what I got!!!

GARDEN TIME!!!

So I promised pictures of the garden...  I decided to wait a little bit before I took the pictures though so that everything had time to grow a bit and you could actually tell what everything is...  so here it goes:

This year dad decided to grow everything in tires to see how it works...  So far so good!!!

I'm not even going to try to tell you what everything is but we have a little of everything.

Of course we didn't put the corn in tires but dad says that next year even the corn will be in tires.

And the grapes are really doing well...  almost can't see the fence anymore.

The black berries loved all the rain we have been having...  Also the raspberries (not shown).

So I also took some pictures of the girls...  and mother and father goose...

I think dad has decided that it is time to let mother and father goose be free...  although since father goose was born with a defective wing and can't fly...  we will go take them to the huge pond by us and they will be good.  Lots of water... brush.... trees.... and best of all....  BUGS!!!  =)  We may have problems with  our one little black chick...  she thinks that she is a goose!  She even goes in the pool with the geese.  Poor little thing has an identity crisis.

Happy 35th Anniversary!!!

We are going to celebrate tomorrow night as dad is still in Utah and won't fly in till midnight tonight...

Daniel is employed...  he is now working at Panera Bakery...

We love Panera, most of our date nights is at Panera!!  SCORE!!!!!

And the family is growing again!!!!


So guess who is having another baby?????  Can any of you guess????
Well while you are thinking about that...  Gas has dropped to $2.92 a gallon in Greenville and it is $2.98 a gallon by us!!!  So glad that the price is finally coming down to a normal amount, and so glad that it is so low where we are!!!  =)
We have a fun full house weekend....  Krysten and the girls were here for a visit on their way back up to Virginia, and Sam will be home a week from Friday....  Hurray!!!!  This is his last mission!!!!
So we also had Ben and April that came up for the weekend...  and their little dog Chewy....  And Jonathan came up yesterday, as Crystal and Rylee are gone for a week to Florida with her parents!!!  And of course Jeff and Lindsay and the kids....  That's a lot of people...  but was fun!!!
Jeff and Lindsay are moving to Idaho in a couple weeks as Jeff was accepted at BYU Idaho....  So we will miss them!!!  Jeff and Dad leave on Wednesday to drive the moving truck to Idaho and they will fly home on Monday the 18th.....  Our anniversary....  35 years!!!!!  =)
So did you guess yet?????  Lindsay!!!  She is due on Tyler's birthday, February 5!!!  =)

Summer Fun!!!!


So yesterday was the first day of summer vacation...  So what did we do??
Well, it ended up being a running around day, Krysten had to get a new charger for her phone, we dropped Daniel off to look for a job, we went to Aldi's (my first time there, I might mention), the post office to get a box to send Sam out his father's day stuff, target to finish filling the box, back to the post office to mail it off, home to drop everyone off and put the frozen stuff away, back into town to pick up Daniel....


Today we went to The Great Escape for free movie day!!!  We got to see Rio!!  Is a cute movie and just fun to see a movie really big!!!


Right now all the kids are laying down or sleeping and this mom is laying on the couch with my lap top!!!


Think we are going to go to the zoo tomorrow!!!  I will let you know!!!!

MOM'S BIRTHDAY


So it was my birthday yesterday and I had a great day!!!
So I will tell you of my full day:  First I went and picked up our bountiful basket, we got banana's, oranges, pineapples, cantaloupes, strawberries, lettuce, green peppers and mushrooms!!!  Everything was great, I love this week cause we got lots of fruit!!!  Just wish we got apples, we haven't gotten apples for about three weeks now.  Oh well.
So went home and decided to clean out one cabinet in the kitchen and ended up cleaning out five cabinets and one drawer.  =)
I got laundry almost done...  had one load in washer and one load in dryer...  almost though!!
Then Jeff, Lindsay, Krysten, dad and I all went to dinner...  my choice...  Red Lobster!!!  Yummy!!  I had cheesy biscuits, clam  chowder, caesar salad, coconut pineapple shrimp with mashed potatoes and broccoli, and key lime pie...  Everything was so good!!!  We had fun visiting and Krysten kept telling us how she was cursed at restaurants and how she always gets the bad servers and her food always takes the longest.....  Well our food did come out pretty slow but it was all good as we were all having fun talking....  So we were thinking that Krysten was just exaggerating.... So the server asked if everyone wanted a drink to go and so he went to go get them... when he brought them back and was giving them out one of the glasses fell, the lid came off and guess where it landed???  That's right...  right on Krysten!!!  How funny was that, we all laughed so hard!!  The dinner was great and they even came and sang to me....
After dinner we went to Bath and Body Works and I got to pick out anything I wanted....

How fun is that!!!!!

After we left the store at the mall...  they had where you could get a massage...  I have never had a massage before, well not a real one, so guess what I did???  I got my first massage!!!  Boy did it hurt!!  I had tears come to my eyes.  And then when he was done....  I felt GREAT!!!!!!

I had the best birthday EVER!!!!!!!!  Thanks to Jeff, Lindsay, Krysten and dad for a great night!!!!!

DANIEL'S GRADUATION!!!!!


What a nice but really LONG night!!!  They're were 485 in the graduating class.....  This ceremony went on for a good two hours after the hour that we had to be there before hand!!!!  Oh well, it was a really nice program....  I did take a video also but not sure if I can figure out how to post that, but I will try.  I didn't get the camera on in time to record his name but it does show him getting his diploma which was the important thing!!!    So I will post some of the pics....
