So I will try to post pictures again....

Our last bountiful basket...

So the participation for bountiful basket has dropped so much that they decided to close it...  =(


So since this blog is letting me post pictures I will also add Jasmine's first day in middle school.
Keep in mind that they have to wear uniforms...  so that is why she is dressed the way she is!

Busy Days Ahead!!!!

Well I didn't have a chance to post my last bountiful basket so I better get that out of the way first....

Wow....  It's not letting me post some pictures...  So I will try later tonight!!!

BOUNTIFUL BASKET...

Well I started back up with getting bountiful basket after all our trips.  Last week was my first one in about a month...   Before I post pictures, I just want to say that I had to go to the store and buy produce and I was shocked...  I bought 1 bag of salad mix, 1 bag of mixed veggies to add to salad mix, 1 tomato and 1 bunch of bananas and it came to $10.00!  WOW  I was in shock!
So for my $15.00 last week here is what I got....

So I got... 2 pineapples, 2 baskets of strawberries, 4 bananas, 1 head of lettuce, 4 tomatoes, 4 cucumbers, 3 green peppers, 2 bunches of broccoli, and 12oz of snow peas.

And today I got....

2 bunches of broccoli, 5 bananas, 6 kiwi, head of lettuce, 3 cucumbers, 2 bunches of kale, 3 green peppers, 5 tomatoes, 5 limes and a bag of grapes.

I'M HAPPY!!!!!!

LAKE GREENWOOD STATE PARK:


We spent the last week out at Lake Greenwood State Park and had a lot of fun.  First on Monday morning we pulled the trailer out and got it all set up then headed back home.  We then pulled the boat out!  We had a really fun time fishing, boating, swimming, floating and relaxing.


So I win the prize for the most fish caught.... 8!  Dad.... 0  Jaz.... 0!  WooHoo for me....  Only thing is that I only caught brim....  =(  Well it was fun anyways.....


So, we got Pearl a life vest as you seen in an earlier post and will see in this one also.  Note:  She enjoyed the boat rides....  HATED swimming!  I wasn't able to get any pictures of her swimming as she was attached to me, so I did the swimming for her.  When she got close enough to the shore I would let her swim on her own and she was glad to be there.  So if I went out into the water and she would whine...  I would bring her out with me and after a couple times doing that she had no problem with me out swimming and her on the shore.

Boat ride is over...  time to cool off.  Wasn't very refreshing, the water was 90 degrees.

Pearl decided not to join us in the lake....  She chose to guard the boat.

We had a storm blow in on Tuesday night.....  No rain, just thunder, lightening, and lots of wind.

Daniel came out on Thursday to join us.....  Shark Boy!

He was there one day and this is what happened to him!

We found a shady spot on the lake so got out of the boat and enjoyed the water....

Daniel had his own boat.....

Dad decided to take a snooze......

And now its time to head back........

So here is Kitty's after pics....  She has pretty much been in this spot for the last week...  Poor baby!

RAIN, RAIN, RAIN.....


Well it has been stormy all week, not as bad as last week but still getting that much needed rain.  I have been taking pictures each day of the clouds and some of the rain so I will try to break them up by the day:

So we did get rain on Monday but I didn't take pictures of that so now we are to today:

I know, I know...  it is all starting to look the same....


So on another note, we are going to go camping next week at Lake Greenwood. We are taking the trailer and the boat!  Should be fun.  We are also taking Pearl with us so we decided to get her a life jacket so she can also go in the boat.  Notice the total excitement in her eyes!!!  NOT!

So this Friday, Kitty is getting her claws removed so we will do a before and after picture.
